Every repair, restoration and commission is done at the bench by the person you spoke to.
I spent many years in the evenings working alongside my late Father who was a Master Craftsman and trade Goldsmith, based at forty one and a half Union Street, Aberdeen. He taught me all aspects of jewellery repair.
I have never had to advertise at all as word of mouth has always brought me plenty of customers.
I set up the shop back in 1997. The shop was originally a butchers shop so the full scale refurbishment took over 6 months to transfer the shop to its current state.
At the end of December 2021 I decided to concentrate fully on the repair and restoration side of the jewellery business by operating an 'appointment only' system at the shop.
When emailing us to arrange an appointment, please supply a photograph where possible, so I can work out the time to allocate.
You will then be offered an available time to visit the shop and book your job in.
The time allocated to book in your job is 15 minutes.
Longer appointments are available for more complex repairs or manufacturing jobs. There will normally be a small charge to cover my time, refunded in full against the final cost if you go ahead with the work.
